Two hours on horseback through the foothills of Chacras de Coria and, on the way back, a traditional Argentine asado with drinks and a long chat around the fire.

IMPORTANT

  • No previous experience needed: we ride at a walking pace and always with a guide.
  • Children from age 8, always with a responsible adult.
  • Let us know when booking if anyone is vegetarian or has any dietary restriction.
A full gaucho experience, twenty minutes from downtown Mendoza. In Chacras de Coria, Luján de Cuyo, the horses and the local baqueanos who know every trail in the foothills are waiting for us. The ride lasts about two hours and is suitable for people who have never been on a horse: we go at a walking pace, as a group, with one guide in front and another at the back. We climb the hills to a viewpoint where you can see the whole city and, on the other side, the Andean foothills. The asado is waiting when we get back: grilled meat, salads, wine and soft drinks, guitar and a long after-dinner chat. Every rider gets a poncho and beret, so the photo turns out just right. There are two time slots, morning and afternoon. The afternoon one is the favorite: you ride with the sun low and eat while the mountains fade into the dusk.
